How Does the Rental Process Work?
The first step in renting a storage unit is to choose the right size to suit your needs. In order to best assess your space requirements, we recommend that you take advantage of a free consultation with our storage experts before signing a contract. You can then select your storage insurance and you're ready to go. The rental contract can be concluded either directly on site or conveniently online. After a minimum term of two weeks, the contract is automatically extended indefinitely and can be terminated at any time with a notice period of one week.
Immediately after signing the contract, you will receive a personal access code that gives you daily access to your storage unit from 06:00 to 22:00. For even more flexibility, we offer self-check-in machines, which can also be used to rent a compartment outside regular opening hours or at weekends. You will receive a suitable lock directly at the machine so that your storage unit can be used immediately - without any waiting time.
How Much Does Self Storage Cost?
The rental costs for a Self Storage compartment are calculated as a fixed price and depend on the selected compartment size. Billing takes place every four weeks. A deposit of six weeks' rent must be paid at the beginning of the rental period, which will be refunded in full once the compartment has been returned in good condition.
You can pay the first rental payment and the deposit on site in cash or by EC or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club). If you book online, you can also pay by instant bank transfer or credit card. For subsequent rentals, you can choose to pay by direct debit, bank transfer or continue to pay in cash or by debit or credit card.
